How to Get the Most Out of the Challenge

The 7-day Samhain & Yoga Challenge has been designed in such a way that you can fit it into even the busiest of days. On busy days you can devote as little as 10 minutes to the challenge. On quieter days, you can spend up to an hour on the challenge.

On each of the seven days of the challenge you will be offered 3 activities. You can choose to do one or more of the activities. The activities are as follows:

  • Each day you will be given a Samhain themed affirmation. You will be invited to coordinate the affirmation with the breath and integrate it into a simple yoga sequence. This will take you 5-10 minutes. On busy days, that might be all you choose to do. However, if you have more time, the yoga sequence plus affirmation will have prepared you for the subsequent Samhain yoga practice.
  • The Samhain themed yoga practices are short and sweet. They are all fairly gentle and so accessible to most levels of fitness and flexibility. They will take you between 15 and 30 minutes.
  • Each day you will be invited to contemplate several Samhain themed meditation questions. If you are short of time you can simply read the questions through. If you have more time you can meditate upon the questions, and if you wish to, you can write down any insights you have gained in your journal.


The beauty of this course is that if you miss any of the practices out, you can always come back to them over the next few weeks. And as the course is yours forever, you might want to return to the practices at Samhain time next year.

To get the most out of the course, I would suggest that you commit to doing at least one of the practices every day over the seven days. And...if you find you have time for more...that's great. However, life happens and if you do miss a day, don't waste time beating yourself up, just start afresh the following day. Hey presto- you're back on track!
